Bolt Down L-shape retaining walls are mechanically fixed to a prepared concrete foundation slab using structural anchor bolts. This system provides enhanced resistance to sliding and overturning forces.
Their bolt-down design provides the perfect solution for soil retention in construction or the deployment of robust storage bays.
Our bolt-down walls are designed to withstand surcharge loadings of 10 kN/m² - 25 kN/m² with manufacturing tolerances based on BS EN 13369:2013 and BS EN 13670:2009.
Our Bolt Down Retaining Walls are designed to withstand surcharge loadings of 20/25 kN/m²
Should you require specific surcharge loadings we also offer 20/25 kN/m² walls

The L-shaped concrete units are securely bolted onto a reinforced concrete strip footing or foundation. This method removes the need for steel RSJs, columns, or additional structural framing, helping to reduce overall project costs while maintaining structural integrity and long-term performance.
One of the key advantages of our L-shaped retaining walls is the speed of installation. A standard three-person installation team can typically install up to 50 linear metres per day, and often more, depending on site conditions.
We provide complete fixing kits and use a rapid-set resin anchor system, allowing the walls to be secured quickly and efficiently. This approach significantly reduces construction time compared to traditional in-situ concrete retaining wall systems.
Each precast retaining wall will require a reinforced concrete foundation which should be determined by a qualified engineer.
The lifting of each precast element during installation of the wall structure must be supervised by a qualified person to ensure safety at all times.
